Andrea Williams, Founder
Andrea and her husband Sean founded I Will Stand International in May of 2012 after Andrea returned from a trip to Rwanda, Africa. She had the privilege of ministering to many women while in Rwanda who forever stole her heart. Out of prayer after returning to the US, the Lord revealed AGAPE village to her, and I Will Stand International was born. Andrea has always had a desire to use her testimony of overcoming abuse to bring hope and healing to others going through similar situations.
Andrea has her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and formerly has worked in Children’s ministry, owned a martial arts school, founded and operated a private Christian school, and has consulted both domestically and internationally. Empowering people in every area of life has been her passion.
Sean Williams, Board of Directors
Sean is married to Andrea and currently is a law student at Texas A&M Law School. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, support, and comic relief. His background is in business and manufacturing. Sean played an instrumental role in Andrea’s healing and restoration and now fully supports Andrea’s efforts of restoring the lives of others.
Julia Quinn, Board of Directors & Director of Media
Julia’s personal mission has been to rescue, restore and empower women in whatever way God provides. When she met Andrea on the same Rwanda trip that birthed IWSI, they shared the same mission. Her heart for Rwandan women and children developed with Andrea’s, and she gladly joined IWSI when it formed. For several years, Julia has used her media leadership and story telling skills for advocating and educating about global injustices, including those specifically against women. She holds a B.S. in both Broadcast Television and Government, along with an M.A. in Organizational Leadership. She and her husband currently live in the Washington D.C. area.
Tina Pennington, Board of Directors
Tina Pennington had an amazing opportunity to participate in a short term mission trip to Ghana, Africa in 2008. She served in many different areas such as women and children’s ministry. After returning home she knew that Father God had not only planted a deep seed in her heart but He had poured out his very love for these precious people into every part of her being. This intoxicating love for the people of Africa would be the beginning of a life changing journey.”Love has changed my life. Emerged in this love motives me to release love like my Father. Being his hands, feet and heart! Loving the ones who need it the most and restoring hope to the broken-hearted.” Tina and her husband, Dan, share the love of God in their community and around the world.
Linda Marrone, Board of Directors
Linda heard the call to ministry when she was 7 years old and fully submitted to the leadership of the Lord at age eighteen. As a Bible teacher, conference speaker, worship leader and local pastor, she has taught the truths of the new covenant and led life-imparting worship for over three decades.
After years of allowing God to make a “message” out of her “mess”, Linda emerged as a voice of confidence and healing to a new generation of believers who struggle to know God and His purpose for them. Along with being a lead pastor at Pathway Church in McKinney, TX, Linda is also a certified Life Coach, helping inspire transformation in people on an individual level.
